This One's for you Whitney:) hehe

    So I was told by a friend of mine at work that Im not very good at keeping my blog up to date so here we go:) I am 30 weeks today!!! I cant believe in 10 weeks or less Olivia will be here.... sometimes I still cant believe I am pregnant... even though she is doing somersaults all day long. Very sureal. I had my glucola test a few weeks ago... which tests for gestational diabetes.... my sugar was a little too high so I had to take another test a week later. The first test wasnt so bad... drink a sugar drink and get a blood sugar. Then the office called and said I need to do a three hour test. Here is the only good part... I got to carb load for 3 days before the test!! I loved that:) Then I had to drink another sugar drink and have my blood sugar checked every hour a few hours. That drink made me feel so bad.... I just wanted to lay down on the floor of the waiting room... and puke. However.... I maintained my composure and stayed in my chair..... and thankfully after 2 hours my sugar was ok... and I am not gestational diabetic! Thank God because I have been craving chocolate sooo much and Im so glad I CAN eat it... it really is the little things that make me happy. So ANYWAYS.... we have been working on Olivia's room... her furniture is up and in it's place... and I love it. I was really worried since I bought it online without seeing it... but it looks great. I also had my first baby shower and recieved alot of goodies for Olivia; she is racking up! A good friend of mine, April, came in from Knoxville and surprised me.... and of course my emotional self cried when I saw her... however... not as much as she did when I told her I was pregnant. (she had tears of joy among other things) I hope she reads this and giggles... she will know why. Other than that Ben and I have been getting ready for Christmas and waiting patiently for February!! I actually have all my shopping done.... and I usually dont even start until now so I am way ahead of the game!! I think that is about all the blabbing I have for now... off to bed for me!

  So the plan for the next few weeks is to relax and enjoy the holidays..... although I work Christmas Eve and Ben works Christmas Day.... but atleast we have jobs... I am very thankful for that!! Merry Christmas ya'll!!!

Moving Right Along

  Well.... the last month has flown by... along with my pregnancy, which is a good thing!! So far Im still feeling great.... I dont have a ton of energy... but I never did before either:) I love my naps! We cleaned out the "junk room" and Ben and his mom painted the nursery. They got it done in about and hour and a half!! I was sooo surprised at how quickly they finished.... now that I know they can paint that fast I will never paint again. If I had done the painting... I would still be going:) Next on the list is getting the carpets cleaned which is being done right now... then Ben must figure out how to put baby furniture together.... that should be interesting. Olivia is busy doing flips all day which I think is the absolute coolest feeling in the world!! I saw my belly move for the first time this week too.... now I sit and stare at it. Also, Ben got to feel her move for the first time the other night..... he was thrilled!! He jumped away at first and then kept his hand on my belly so he could feel her do her gymnastics:) We registered a few weeks ago too... very overwhelming.... there is just soooo much stuff!! I kept thinking... we are never going to get all this stuff... but I have come to realize most of the stuff is out of convenience and 100 years ago.. things like bouncy seats and swings and play mats and gyms and diaper genies didnt exist... and people actually survived... somehow. God will give us what we need... so Im trying not to worry. So, coming up in the next weeks: I have my glucola test (hope Im not a gestational diabetic because I value my daily dose of chocolate)... my first shower that my mom, sis and mother in law are giving me.... and more work on the nursery!! New Blogger

So... I never thought I would start a blog... just didn't think it was for me. But here I am trying to figure this all out. What can I say... I love reading other people's blogs and thought maybe someone would check mine out too:) To start off  I will let everyone know that I am 22 weeks pregnant now with Miss Olivia Grace Hetzler.... I finally started feeling her move around last week!! Wow, such an amazing feeling that is!! Ben touches my belly all the time waiting to feel her move.. but she isn't quite big enough for him to feel just yet. We are very excited and cant wait to meet her in February. We are going to start getting her room ready soon... probably at the end of the month.. and I plan on finally registering soon too. I have been a little superstitious and have been waiting until I am 24 weeks.... the downfall of working in labor and delivery is I know a little too much and freak myself out ALOT. However, I remind myself daily that God has a plan and I need to trust in HIM!! So, here are a few ultrasound pics of Olivia at 19weeks!!
